SCISSOR LIFT
Scissor lifts are used where less reach and height, but more workspace and lifting capacity, are required. They are designed to provide larger platform work areas and generally to allow for heavier loads than boom lifts.
Scissor lifts may be maneuvered in a manner similar to boom lifts, but the platform may be raised only vertically, except for an available option that extends the deck horizontally up to 6 ft. (1.83 m). Scissor lifts are available in various electric and gas powered (rough terrain) models with maximum platform heights of up to 50 ft. (15.24 m).
